2016 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty
Ram Trucks announced the pricing and performance numbers of its 2016 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups, and it’s clear the brand is looking to up the ante to build upon its “best in class” claims for the segment.

Ram engineers went back to the drawing board to recalibrate turbo boost and fuel delivery in its 6.7-liter I-6 Cummins diesel engine, as it will produce an additional 35 lb.-ft. of torque compared to the 2015 version. This will increase the 6.7’s torque output 35 lb.-ft. from 865 to 900, which Ram notes is “a number never achieved in a mass-produced vehicle.” Ram also notes the 2016 Ram 2500 will continue to lead the 3/4-ton towing figures with its 17,980-pound capacity.

2015_Magnaflow-Toyota_Tundra_6-17-15

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. (June, 2015) – Since its inception, the Toyota Tundra has managed to do the impossible: beat the Big Three at their own game. The Tundra has always been an unlikely choice when compared to the standard offerings from Ford, Dodge, and GM but its thoughtful engineering and excellent build quality have made it a stand-out for over a decade. Toyota’s V8s have long been legendary for their ability to take whatever abuse their owners could throw at them but their exhaust note was, shall we say, somewhat restrained. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t good sounding engines though, and MagnaFlow is here to prove that by letting them truly breathe.

Centerforce-Clutch-Chevy-Truck-6-17-15Prescott, Ariz. (June 2015) – Classic GMC/Chevrolet pickups, vans, and SUVs are some of the most venerable workhorses ever built. Millions of these sturdy rigs were manufactured between 1962-1995, and many still remain in service. These older trucks have always been great platforms for both business and pleasure. With the limitless possibilities for upgrading stout GM powerplants, their stock clutches (probably tired already) quickly run out of talent. Centerforce now has a premium street/track/trail solution in kit form: The Centerforce Dual Friction System (P/N KDF240916).
