Each year, the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas attracts all manner of custom-built vehicles meant to showcase the latest and greatest the automotive aftermarket has to offer. At this year’s show, one vehicle in particular stood out: Atturo Tires’ Jeep Gladiator build, looking imposing as all get-out in black with vibrant green decals, big matte bronze wheels, a blacked-out grille, and — of course — the company’s new Trail Blade MTS tires.

The work of Pro Motorsports in Phoenix, Arizona, this Jeep Gladiator served as the perfect debut vehicle for Atturo Tires‘ brand-new tire. The MTS is the first entry in Atturo’s new Trail Blade Sport series, and it features more grooves and sipes than past Atturo designs for enhanced traction in tough conditions. The tire continues Atturo’s successful partnership with Quartermaster Knives, featuring an eye-catching, intimidating tread block design modeled after the company’s OTR-5 karambit knife.

The Build

The Gladiator build itself is just as impressive at its brand-new rubber, coming fully tricked-out with high performance King Shocks and big matte bronze 20×12 Black Rhino wheels. Meanwhile, the Jeep’s gnarly, military-looking matte black front and rear bumpers and chase bar all come courtesy of DV8 Offroad — as do its sharp fender flares and functional inner fender liners.

At the front of the Atturo Tires SEMA Jeep Gladiator is a WARN winch and hook, mounted off a striking matte black grille from ORACLE Lighting. Speaking of lighting: this menacing off-roader features plenty of high-performance aftermarket lights from Rigid Industries, including a 60-inch light bar mounted atop the chase bar.

From there, a pair of ARIES power side steps ease entry into the cabin, where you’ll find a custom KICKER subwoofer box and amplifier, along with premium Katzkin leather seat covers to ensure this thing looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside.

The Trail Blade MTS

All that custom work makes this Jeep Gladiator the perfect vehicle to debut Atturo Tires’ new Trail Blade MTS tire, embodying everything the Atturo Trail Blade line is all about: coupling a sharp, commanding sense of style with serious off-road prowess. Big tread blocks like the ones found on the MTS don’t just provide next-level traction, they also give Atturo plenty of room to dream up dramatic new signature designs, giving their tires a wholly unique — and striking — aesthetic to match their equally impressive off-road capabilities.

“With the debut of the Trail Blade MTS as the first tire in our Trail Blade Sport series, we’re excited to offer a bold new option and fitments for full-size 4×4 vehicles,” says Atturo president Michael Mathis. “We’re equally excited to introduce both the new tire and series in Las Vegas during SEMA, the premier automotive specialty products trade show on the planet. SEMA is where the largest collection of modified trucks and Jeeps can be found, and the MTS gives a distinctive new tire choice for these custom vehicles.”
