It seems like the latest RC fad that manufactures are
into is selling RC's pre-built, 100% assembled RTRs - (Ready To
Runs).
Duratrax now has a hot new competitive 2WD
nitro-powered RTR The RC stadium truck is aptly named the Maximum
St Pro, similar to the Maximum ST but with several additional
modifications, such as factory-equipped blue anodized aluminum
parts, ball bearings as well as a list of others.
One of these new modifications includes a high-output
TORQ .16 ABC Motor.
This is a dragster in comparison to some of the .12
motors that are usually standard equipment in other stadium
trucks.
The Max Pro also comes with a pre-painted
polycarbonate body, which is already pre-cut and ready to race. Picture one shows exactly
how the truck arrives in the box. Notice the controller on the
right, which also includes batteries as well. The only thing you
need to fire this thing up is the fuel. We went down to our local
hobby shop and bought some 20% Nitro. We'll probably run 25% after
we know the motor is thoroughly broken in.
