A record breaking 115 drivers took part in the 2015 MetalCloak Stampede held at the Prairie City SVRA park outside of Sacramento.  With thousands of fans present for a full day of racing, the event was the largest to date for ULTRA4 Racing at the park in both car count and spectator turnout. The 2014 Nitto Tire National Champion, Loren Healy wasted no time in establishing dominance in the 4400 class and maintained his lead throughout the weekend.

RANCHO CORDOVA, California – The 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, kicked off on Saturday with the 47th Annual GoPro Hangtown Motocross Classic in the shadow of the California state capital at Prairie City SVRA. The 12-round summer-long battle to crown a champion saw GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac make the first statement in the 450 Class, earning his second career overall victory with a dominant 1-1 moto sweep. In the 250 Class, reigning champion and Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha rider Jeremy Martin began his title defense with a dominant final moto to earn the tiebreaker over Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin and claim his second straight overall win at Hangtown.

Monroe, MI – Team DynoMax swept four of the top five spots at the ULTRA4 MetalCloak Stampede at Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area, Calif., this past weekend. Loren Healy finished first, Shannon Campbell second, Wayland Campbell third and Levi Shirley fifth during the weekend’s main ULTRA4 4400 series race. In the 4500 series race, DynoMax drivers Shawn Rants took first and Justin Hall placed second.

Moab, Utah--The national nonprofit Tread Lightly!, its partners and more than 40 volunteers completed another improvement project along Moab’s famous Sevenmile Rim Trail this Wednesday during the Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks annual UTV event.

The project took place at one of Sevenmile Rim’s main scenic attractions–Determination Towers. Volunteers built approximately half a mile of fencing to help protect the area from damage and more clearly delineate the trail. This is the second Restoration for Recreation™ project Tread Lightly! has organized on the Sevenmile Rim this year.

MT. MORRIS, Pa. – The fourth round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing (ATVMX) was filled with intense race action as the world’s fastest riders on four wheels made their annual visit to High Point Raceway for the ATV Stampede on Saturday afternoon. After a spirited showdown between three-time AMA Pro ATV Champion Chad Wienen and Pennsylvania native Joel Hetrick, the defending race winner at High Point, the hometown rider made the fans proud with 1-1 moto sweep aboard his Hetrick Racing/Corrosion Specialties/Brownell Inc. Honda. Hetrick’s back-to-back wins over the last two rounds also vaulted him past Wienen in the championship standings.
