The FAB School Opens Its Doors

Riverside, California (November 1, 2005) The FAB School Founder – Troy Johnson, has over 20 years of experience in the off road manufacturing industry. Johnson says leading, guiding and teaching the new generation of off road fabricators will mold them as they venture into a exploding niche industry, the off road world. According to Johnson,

The FAB School is one of the first California state approved automotive fabrication schools in Southern California and provides instruction on the art of automotive fabrication emphasizing the skills needed to build it all. “We have assembled a group of instructors that have proven talent in the industry and we are pleased to have the opportunity at shaping the next generation of fabricators,” commented Johnson.

In addition, The FAB School offers job placement assistance and financial aid to interested students. The FAB School Administrator, Melissa Davis noted the curriculum offers a variety of classes that emphasize the basics for a successful transition into the off road fabrication industry.

Also, The FAB School will offer not only the Introduction to Fabrication course, but Intermediate Fabrication and Advanced Fabrication courses as well. Classes will include suspension design, chassis design, race prep, sheet metal work and extensive tube work featuring notching, bending and cutting.
