SuperLite Lets You Be a Pro Truck Racer For a Weekend

Nov. 02, 2010 By Press Release
RENO, NV: Sit behind the wheel of a SuperLite Truck and take the green flag at a Lucas Oil Off Road Race with huge crowds in the stands watching you race against some of the biggest names including Metal Mulisha’s Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and General Tires Jeff “Ox” Kargola.  Take the checker flag and pull up to the podium, stand on the roof cheering while the whole crew cheers and congratulates you.  Champagne spray all over the trophy girls, get interviewed for SuperLite Live TV and then parade back to the SuperLite Semi where your pit crew works on the truck to prepare it for the next race, while you lounge in the Hospitality area.  When the races are over, head back to the airport and fly home.  The life of a Race Truck Driver.

All of this is possible with the new SuperLite Arrive and Drive Program.   Arrive with your safety gear and Drive in a race ready SuperLite Truck at the next Lucas Oil Off Road Race, or make a season commitment to race with the team full time for the 2011 season.  Setup a training day ahead of the race to ensure success when on the track.

When you Arrive at the track there will be a fully prepared SuperLite off-road race truck waiting for you in a professional pit under a semi awning.  You will be assigned a professional pit crew including a designated crew chief and spotter.  All race support equipment is at hand along with a full set of high performance off-road tires and VP Racing high performance race fuel.  The semi has a hospitality area for you and a guest.   You will be included in a series of marketing and promotion opportunities including but not limited to Lucas Oil Off Road Television coverage and the SuperLite Championship TV series.

When you Drive at the test track, you will learn from the best drivers including Chuck Dempsey how to successfully race, jump, turn, and win in a truck on a short course track.  Once completing the training day, you will line up with the whole field of SuperLites for a weekend of racing at the Lucas Oil Off Road Race of your choice.  A typical weekend includes practice and qualifying on Friday, with Main Events on both Saturday and Sunday as part of the main show.   Each of the main event consists of 13 laps completing a true racing experience with two opportunities to take home the first place trophy and a cash purse.

The season lease package is $52,500 for a 7 race series (includes entry fees) or a single race weekend rental package price is $7,500 (plus entry fees).  There is a crash damage deposit of $5,000, and the driver is responsible for all crash damage beyond normal wear and tear. There may be marketing real estate on truck for personal sponsors, but need to be pre-determined. Test days are only $1500 which include a complete race prepped truck on quality track with full support.
