Here in the good ol’ USA, we’re blessed with some of the most diverse and beautiful terrain of anywhere on the planet. Despite the ongoing battles to reduce and restrict our off-road fun, we still have plenty of available and scenic land open to OHV vehicle use.  Here’ at Off-Road.com, we’ve had the good fortune to see quite a bit of it so we thought we’d put together a list of some of the most scenic ATV and UTV riding areas in the country.  This isn’t an all-encompassing list and we understand everyone has different tastes in what they consider “scenic,” so if you’ve got a favorite spot that you think we should visit, let us know!

1. Big Horn Mountains, Wyoming
If we were to recommend an ATV sightseeing adventure, Big Horn Mountain in Wyoming would probably be at the top of our list. Not only can you ride hundreds of miles of trails over mountain passes, through lush meadows and along beautiful rivers, but you’ll more than likely catch a glimpse of some incredible wildlife.  Bear, moose, deer, elk and coyote are just a sample of the local “inhabitants.” The amazing scenery will leave you breathless and begging for more.

2. Moab, Utah
Massive rock formations dwarfed by snow-capped mountain peaks earns Moab, Utah, a spot on our list. The “Hells Revenge” trail provides some amazing views of the Colorado River, and in the warmer months Kane Creek is a blast as the trail crisscrosses the creek numerous times. Although it’s significantly more “rustic” than some of the greener locations on our list, Moab’s unique terrain coupled with the wide variety of scenery in the area makes this a spot that every off-roader should visit at least once in their lifetime.
