Cooper A/TW All-Terrain Winter Tire
Creating an all-terrain truck and SUV tire that has added emphasis on winter driving, Cooper recently unveiled its new A/TW all-terrain tire. Taking its Discoverer A/T3 all-terrain to the next level of winter performance, the A/TW features micro-gauge corrugated siping to improve winter traction, while the Snowgroove 2.0 design provide improved snow-on-snow traction. The Chevron self-cleaning grooves on the tire are designed to enhance all-terrain performance and the more aggressive offsets improve snow and loose surface traction. The A/TW also earned the Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake award for severe weather handling. More information about the new tire can be found here. We expect more new product from Cooper in 2015, as Cooper reps informed us to be on the lookout for an invite to test its redesigned Discoverer STT mud-terrain tires.
