Easy-Out Screw Extractor
Snapping the head off a bolt is incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, some genius individual got the clever idea to create a sort of reversed thread drill bit that cuts its way into the stubborn bolt and allows you to back the broken bolt back out of the hole. You’ll need to use a punch to mark the center of the broken bolt and then drill a small pilot hole to guide the easy out in. As the easy out cuts its way into the hole you drilled, it will begin to back the damaged bolt back out of the hole. It’s much more convenient than trying to drill the whole bolt out and risk damaging the threads or something else.

Torque Wrench
In the kitchen, I’m one of those people that follows a recipe to a tee. Whoever came up with the recipe knows how to do it best, so I’m going to do exactly what they say. I’m pretty much the same way with my torque wrench. If the factory went to the trouble of providing the torque specs in my service manual, I’m going to tighten just about every nut and bolt to the factory recommended specs. I’ve seen too many people going for “feel” only to have something come loose or snap and create more headaches down the road.
