     2002 Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4

This feature gives the King Quad a lot of versatility, especially for towing. The sub-transmission can be used to multiply the torque and increase the pulling ability of the unit by going to the low or super low range. For example, if a farmer is towing a spraying rig that must be pulled at a slow but steady speed, the low and super low ranges allow the engine to operate at an RPM where it makes optimum pulling power at a slow forward speed. Conversely, a higher range can be used to provide normal trail speed operation. The advantage is that the rider can tailor a wide range of gear selections as desired.
