NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan dealerships nationwide have teamed with Star Wars: Force for Change to host a toy drive benefiting the Toys for Tots organization on Dec. 17 and 18.
After news stories surfaced yesterday that Nissan could be purchasing Mitsubishi, today we learn that Nissan in fact has formed a “strategic alliance” as Nissan has purchased a controlling interest with a 34 percent stake in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation for 237 billion yen.
Leaked photos last week prompted Jeep to at least reveal images of the 2014 Cherokee, which hit the news cycle while we were in Texas testing the new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The all-new design of the popular Jeep Cherokee platform is certainly unique.
The new 2014 Cherokee will be filling the spot of the Liberty, which will not return to the company’s lineup in 2014. It does feature styling of the Grand Cherokee and Compass, but its size and smaller headlights also put it more in line to the Nissan Juke and vehicles of that size.
The 2011 SEMA Show always provides appeal to automotive enthusiasts. Unless you’re in the automotive industry, you’re not getting into the show, which is a shame because there are some of the most amazing – and sometimes ridiculous – project vehicles you’ll ever see.
In the off-road realm, there’s no denying the popularity of the JK Jeep Wrangler that could be found all over the show. But not to be outdone, a great number of trucks were featured as well, and in a wide variety of different applications. Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota and Nissan were all there. Here’s a look at some of truck we caught on camera.
