– Entries are now open, and 26 of the 144 spots for the inaugural Mike’s Peak Hill Climb Challenge have already been filled. The event takes place October 13-16, at the legendary Mike’s Sky Rancho in Baja California, Mexico.

The Off-road powerhouse team of RPM Off-Road of Bristol, Tenn., has entered five-vehicles to tackle the 31 km route, climbing the 4,000 foot ascent to the top of “Mike’s Peak” through multiple cattle guards and water crossings.

– Head Hoonigan in Charge, Ken Block, has teamed up with artist, friend and fellow Utah resident, Jim Mangan, to create a photography book titled BLAST.  The work builds upon the epic, almost otherworldly landscape photography that helped Mangan break out in the world of photography, but does so with the incorporation of both Block and his Ford Fiesta HFHV rally car.

Mike-Brown-Husqvarna-6-24-14Factory Husqvarna’s Mike Brown was back in the saddle for round two of the GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship, taking place at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. Brown was looking to improve on his hard luck suffered at the season opener in Las Vegas, and was able to do so by riding to a steady sixth place finish.

Brown came into the evening program on a positive note, after qualifying second during the pre-show hot-laps. Another high point in Brown’s evening was his second-place finish in his heat race. The Factory Husqvarna rider was looking to put it all together in the main event, but multiples falls in the rocks relegated him to a sixth-place finish, but awarded him some hard-earned points in the championship.

SCORE released the official results of the third round of its five-race World Championship Series for 2014. The race was held this past weekend in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, spanning 447.86-miles in distance. There were a total of 232 starters for this year’s race, with 126 finishers, or a finishing rate of 54.31 percent. Racers represented 20 U.S. States and 15 different countries.

Traverse City, Mich. – Radar Tires and Bronson Motorsports dominated the 46th Annual Tecate SCORE International Baja 500 on Saturday, June 7, en route to a second consecutive Class 10 Baja 500 win. One year ago lead racer Mike Johnson won the Baja 500 event in a solo effort.

– It is officially being announced that NASCAR and TORC Off-Road driver Bobby Runyan Jr. has partnered with long time family owned company Kooks Custom Headers in the Speed Energy Stadium Super Truck Series.

Celebrating its 41st season in 2014 as the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization, during tonight’s 22nd episode of the 2014 SCORE Dirt LiveHD season at 7 p.m. (PT) in addition to the interviews with SCORE champion racers McMillin and Cody, a special promo video will air for the next SCORE telecast on the CBS Sports Network.
