2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew First Look

This is the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew (the four-door version), revealed for the first time in its entirety.

The Raptor was unveiled for the first time back in January at the Detroit Auto Show, but it was only shown as a SuperCab. Today though, spy photographers were able to capture an entire set of shots showing the 2017 SuperCrew Raptor fully undisguised. This is the first time we've caught the SuperCrew testing in what appears to be a fully completed form at least in terms of appearance. This SuperCrew Raptor also sports new black rims with what appear to be BFGoodrich TA KO2 tires.

Ford has said all along that the 2017 Raptor will get a re-tuned version of the 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 that will replace the outgoing 6.2-liter V8 in the previous model. The difference with this 3.5L V6 is that it will produce closer to 450 horsepower compared to the 365-horsepower output found on the standard 3.5L EcoBoost V6. The Raptor will also be one of the first vehicles to receive a new 10-speed automatic transmission being developed by Ford and GM, which will likely make its way onto other Ford trucks as well.

We expect the 2017 Raptor to be on sale around the summer of 2016.
