The world of off-road descended upon Southern California at the Fairplex at Pomona today for the 2011 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo, presented by General Tire. Showcasing the latest and greatest from the Off-Road Nation, the Expo started today but will also be going all day tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is a lot of camping-related gear and overland-style equipment at this year’s show. One tent Jeep JK tent receiving a lot of attention was this JK Habitat top from Overland Equipment.

There really is a little bit of everything at this year’s event. The world of hard-core rock-crawling continues to grow, as is the overland adventure-style off-roading focusing on camping gear and tents. As is always the case at Expo, race parts and vehicles could be found everything on display and for sale. It is an off-road playground. There are quite a few on-site deals as well, so there are plenty of bargains to be had.

Lucas Oil showcased the awesomeness of closed-course racing with a demo on the Fairplex grounds.

Off-Road.com was on hand to check out the action. Here’s just a small taste of the show. If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out tomorrow. More information can be found at the show website, http://www.offroadexpo.com/.
