Bryce Menzies was able to hold off Rob MacCachren in Pro 2 at both Reno races this past weekend.

This past weekend the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series headed to Sparks, Nevada, as the Wild West Motorsports Park played host to Rounds 13 and 14 of the short-course off-road series. As LOORRS accelerates toward the finish line of the 2015 season, the class championship battles are starting to take shape, with a few of the classes still completely up for grabs.

Kyle LeDuc has now won 12 straight Pro races.

Looking to cement a back-to-back championship in the Pro 4 class, Kyle LeDuc put everyone on notice as he swept the class at the Reno races. His win at Round 14, where he overcame a poor start on the first lap to eventually take the lead and earn his twelfth consecutive class victory.

Chad George earned the Round 13 victory, which he followed up with a second-place finish at Round 14.

In Pro 2, the battle between Rob MacCachren and Bryce Menzies remains very tight. Menzies looked to make his move on MacCachren by taking the sweep of the class over the weekend with back-to-back victories, though MacCachren proved he isn’t losing his points lead so easily by finishing in the second-place position in both races behind Menzies. Third place was split between young racers Patrick Clark at Round 13 and Sheldon Creed at Round 14.

Jerett Brooks (77) battles with Brandon Arthur in Pro Light. Brooks earned the win at Round 14, while Arthur left Reno with a second-place finish at Round 13.

In Pro Light, RJ Anderson looked to retain his points lead in the class. Although Anderson wasn’t able to win in either round, he did finish the weekend with a pair of third-place finishes. Brad DeBerti was able to secure another victory in the class at Round 13, which he followed up with a second-place finish at Round 14. Jerett Brooks, who sits just behind Anderson in the Championship points race, earned the win at Round 14 to stay in the mix heading into the final few races of the season.

RJ Anderon (37) wasn't able to hold off Round 13 winner Brad DeBerti (70), but Anderson did earn crucial championship points with his two third-place finishes on the weekend.

In the Pro Buggy class, Chad George secured the victory at Round 13, holding off his cousin Garrett George in second and Kevin McCullough in third. Mike Valentine earned the victory at Round 14, with Chad George finishing in second and Garrett in third.

There’s only two more weekends of racing left on the calendar for the 2015 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, though there should still be a makeup round for the Glen Helen race that was cancelled due to rain back in July. The next event will be at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway the weekend of September 18-19, with the season finale taking place at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in late October.
