The 2016 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series headed to Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park this past weekend  for the second-to-last race weekend of the season. Only one round of racing remains, along with the Cup races, and that final weekend of racing will take place later next month at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona.

Kyle LeDuc is on a roll in Pro 4 and looks to cement another championship after a slow start early in the season.

The championship battles are really tightening up, and no class is more evident of that than Pro 4. Carl Renezeder started off the season strong in the class, but after a slow start to the year Kyle LeDuc retook the points leads for the class title after sweeping the class this past weekend. Of course Renezeder kept things close, though, finishing in second place in both races after holding hold Rob MacCachren, who earned third place at both races. The final race will be for all of the marbles between LeDuc and Renezeder.

Rob Mac earned three podiums over the weekend, with his best being a Pro 2 victory at Round 13.

In Pro 2, MacCachren earned the win at Round 13 to kick off the weekend, holding off locals Brian Deegan and RJ Anderson, who finished in second and third, respectively. Deegan was able to better his position at Round 14 to earn the win, with Carl Renezeder earning his third second-place finish of the weekend. Patrick Clark rounded out the Pro 2 podium at Round 14.

Jerett Brooks swept the Pro Lite class at Elsinore.

In the Pro Lite class, Jerett Brooks swept the class both nights. At Round 13, Brock Heger finished in second place behind Brooks, while Brandon Arthur rounded out the podium in third. For Round 14, Ryan Beat finished in second and Cole Mamer earned a third-place finish.

Bud Ward earned the Pro Buggy win at Round 13, while Darren Hardesty earned the Round 14 win.

In the Pro Buggy class, Bud Ward kicked off the weekend with a victory, holding off Mike Valentine in second place and Sterling Cling in third. The parity of the Pro Buggy class showed itself over the weekend, though, as an entirely new set of drivers made the podium. Darren Hardesty earned the win ahead of second-place Garrett George and third-place Kevin McCullough.

The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series will wrap up the 2016 season at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Arizona the weekend of October 22-23. For more information, head over to LucasOilOffRoad.com.
