The all-new 2019 Toyota TRD Pro lineup is here and is more capable than ever.
The 2019 Toyota Tundra, 4Runner and Tacoma TRD Pro models are the brand’s most hardcore off-road offerings straight from the factory, and for this year each one of gets upgrades.

First, the suspension, and this change arrives for all three models. The 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro was released with a set of Fox 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Shocks which at the time were specific to the midsize truck, but for 2019 all three models will use these shocks. The leaf springs in the rear of the Tundra and Tacoma have been tuned as well by TRD, along with the coilovers in the 4Runner, to deliver more travel and a better ride off road.
New TRD dust boots are used to keep dust and dirt out of the shocks while the 4Runner uses a unique roost shield to protect the inverted rear shock.

2019 Tacoma TRD Pro
The upgrades suspension results in a 1-inch lift for the Tacoma, while this small truck also gets an updated front skid plate with red TRD lettering, projector-beam headlights, Rigid Industries LED fog lights, black sport bezels, that big TOYOTA grille, and a new TRD exhaust with a black chrome tip.
Clearly, the most eye-catching accessory is a new TRD Desert Air Intake, designed to deliver clean air to the engine in the thickest silt and dust. Toyota says that thanks to the ingestion point being above the windshield, the clean air should result in engine longevity and health.
Inside, the Tacoma gets an Entune Premium JBL Audio system, TRD Pro-branded floor mats, leather-trimmmed seats, and TRD Pro-emblazoned headrests.
Providing grip is a set of P265/70R16 Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar All-Terrain tires wrapped around 16-inch TRD Pro black alloy wheels.
2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
Thanks to the new TRD-tuned springs under the Tundra, the truck gets a 2-inch lift in the front, increasing wheel travel by 1.5 inches. New for 2019 on the big truck are a set of Rigid Industries fog lights, LED headlights, a new hood scoop and a TOYOTA grille.
New 18-inch forged-aluminum five-spoke satin black wheels are wrapped in Michelin P275/65R18 all-terrain tires providing grip.
On the inside, the Tundra gets leather-trimmed seats, red accent stitching, TRD Pro floor mates, shift knob and center console emblem. A 1/4-inch skid plate with red TRD lettering has also been added.
2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
4Runner is also lifted by 1-inch like the Tacoma, providing more wheel travel, while the 17-inch matte black TRD alloy wheels have an offset change to provide a 1-inch wider track. Nitto Terra Grappler P265/70R17 A/T tires provide all-terrain performance.
A new roof rack has been added for carrying gear on the 4Runner TRD Pro, while a skid plate with red lettering is also part of the package.
Inside, the Entune Premium JBL Audio system has has been fitted along with new floor mats, shift knob, Softex seats and TRD logos in the headrests. The blacked out TOYOTA grille, LED fog lights and projector-beam headlights complete the look.
All three TRD Pro models feature the Star Safety System which includes stability control, traction control, ABS and more. Both the Tundra and Tacoma come standard with Safety Sense P, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detecion, lane departure alert, sway warning, automatic high beams and radar-based cruise control.
All three are covered by a 36-month/36,000-mile basic new-vehicle warranty.
