Alumi-Craft-Ridgecrest-SNORE-4-23-15

Ridgecrest, CA – Alumi Craft Racers Richard Glaszczak and Mike Majesky took their RPM Racing Alumi Craft class 10 car to an impressive victory at the SNORE Motion Tire 300 race in Ridgecrest, California. Not content to just rout the 10 others cars in their class, they outpaced all the class 1 cars and were in contention for the overall win. Only two vehicles finished all 5 laps in less than 6 hours; the overall winning Trophy truck and the RPM Alumi Craft class 10.

The team had a skeleton crew in the pits but their Alumi Craft ran trouble free all day. “On the first lap Mike got out ahead of everyone,” said Richard Glaszczak, “We only had two guys in our pit but got some help from friends who were pitting close by. On the second lap the power steering was giving us some feedback so we changed the pump out of caution when we stopped for fuel. We bent a wheel but it held air; we had no flats and really no issues all day.”

Despite race traffic and a course that had everything including whoops, ruts and rocks that range from pebbles to the size of a house; the RPM team laid down five consistent laps that averaged just over one hour each. Their total time on course was 5 hours and 41 minutes; only seven minutes behind the overall winning Trophy Truck. Their amazing speed brought them special recognition from SNORE. They received the Jamar Shifter, Most Dominant Driver Award. The award comes with a special trophy made from an engraved Jamar shifter mounted to a granite plaque; a fitting tribute to the team’s hard work and their Alumi Craft class 10 car that ran solid as a rock all day.
