If you were expecting to see a Segway dirt eBike at the SEMA show this week, you certainly had us beat. But that is exactly what the technology company did when it unveiled the new Segway X160 and X260 models. This comes just hours after Segway took the covers off its first ever ATV and UTV models at EICMA in Milan, Italy.
According to the company, the Segway X160 and X260 are a hybrid between a dirt and mountain bike. The Segway Dirt eBike models are designed to be compact, lightweight and easy to maintain.
The primary differences between the two models are size and driving range – 74.6 miles for the X260 and 40.4 miles for the X160. Retail pricing for the new Segway Dirt eBikes will be $2999.99 for the X160 and $4499.99 for the X260. Top speeds max out at 31.1 mph for the X160 and 46.6 mph for the X260. Both Segway Dirt eBikes will also feature removable batteries you can quickly swap out.
Far more than a concept, these vehicles will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2020.
