If you’ve been pondering a new set of Yokohama Geolander tires for your off-road rig, now might be a good time to pull the trigger.
Yokohama is barging into the off-road game in a big way this year with the new Yokohama Geolandar X-AT and X-MT tires. We had the chance to sample the X-AT in the Nevada desert earlier this year and came away impressed with the tire’s ability to plow through the rough stuff but not beat us up on the drive home.
To help bring customers to the brand, Yokohama is running a special Off the Road national rebate promotion that splashes a bit of cash on these new tires. From now through August 31st, consumers can earn up to $100 in the form of a Visa prepaid cards after purchasing a set of four or five select Yokohama tires. The offer includes three of Yokohama’s off-road Geolandar meats: the X-AT, X-MT, and M/T G003.
“Whether going on- or off-road, now is the ideal time for fun and exciting trips,” said Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama’s director of marketing. “With our Off the Road rebate, everyone can make sure their vehicles are ready to go exploring with a new set of tires, and get rewarded with a prepaid gift card.”
Buying a set of four Yokohama Geolander tires nets customers an $80 prepaid card, while popping for the fifth hoop bumps that incentive to an even $100 loaded onto a prepaid chunk of plastic. Note this offer is only good on the X-AT, X-MT, and M/T G003. As with all rebates of this nature, you’ll have to pony up the full purchase upfront and then submit a form to redeem the rebate. The choice exists to redeem the rebate either online or by mail, with the former undoubtedly expediting the process tenfold.
The rebate is available at participating Yokohama dealers nationwide and select authorized online dealers, so that sketchy character hawking the set at next week’s swap meet doesn’t count. The offer is open to US residents physically residing in the States. Details can be found at this link.
