Bullet-proof armor, thermal night vision, and 707 horsepower. It can only be the Rezvani Tank Military Edition.

The world’s warlords and despots now have a new option for self-protection at their disposal. Underside explosive protection will keep distractions to a minimum, while reinforced bumpers and military run-flat tires ensure an interrupted journey. The latest in ballistics armor capable of stopping high caliber weapons and assault rifles is on board. Radiator, battery and fuel tank are all wrapped in Kevlar.

Under that massive hood is a 6.4L V8 making 500 horsepower as standard equipment. If – like most dictators – you want more power, Rezvani will be glad to oblige with the installation of a 6.2L Hellcat engine making the full 707 horsepower. Driving through a brick wall while escaping Bond villians should be no problem. If that doesn’t throw them, the rear smoke screen will.

Did we hit up the site’s Build & Price tool? You bet we did.

The Rezvani Tank Military Edition starts at $295,000 plus destination fees. A check-every-box example, shown here in black, tops out at an eye-watering $367,375. Amongst the options selected is a $29,000 Off-Road Package, a group that includes a 6-inch lift and 37-inch tires. That package also nets Dynatrac ProRock 44/60 axle set with e-lockers are found front and rear, along with FOX 2.5” remote reservoir shocks.

Strobe lights, sirens, and a full intercom system with external speakers and microphone allows occupants to communicate with what the company entertainingly calls “external threats” without the need to open doors or windows. If the Purge ever becomes a reality, I know exactly what type of vehicle I’m deploying.

Its dimensions put the Tank at 83 inches high, an inch more than that in width, and 196 inches long. For comparison, the 2-door Wrangler JL measures a full ten inches shorter in height, eleven inches narrower, and thirty inches shorter in length. Rezvani says it tips the scales at 4300lbs, a number that’s tough to believe given all the bulletproof sheetmetal.

But, hey – I’m not arguing with a company who makes a machine equipped with electrified door handles. Check out more photos at their website.
