Polaris has announced a new contingency program and side-by-side purchasing program to help off-road racers who choose the brand’s products.

The side-by-side purchasing program will help those who want to race a RZR XP, offering $5,000 off the price tag, while RZR RS1 buyers can save $2,500. A one-time discounted parts order is also part of the deal, netting the buyer up to $5,000 in free product.

To qualify, you must have raced in at least 75 percent of an approved race series in 2017 and have plans to race a full 2018 season. Qualified series include Best in the Desert (BITD), SCORE International Off-Road Racing, World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS), Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series and the Grand National Cross Country series. Proof must be provided of competition and Polaris points out that if the conditions are not met, the company will bill you for the remaining price of the unit.

Through the contingency program, racers can earn a brand new 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo, but only if you win. The side-by-side prize will be paid to the top RZR finisher in each series and approved class. At least 10 racers must compete in the series for the winner to be eligible, and you must make sure that all Polaris RZR logos are predominantly displayed on the vehicle.

The contingency program will be available to the turbo and production classes in BITD, SCORE, LOORRS, WORCS and the Grand National Cross Country series, which means a total of 10 2018 RZRs are up for grabs.

“After a historic run last season, and a podium-filled start to 2018, we want to extend our support outside of the factory teams, awarding top privateer racers who drive RZR’s in 2018,” said Matt Boone, RZR and GENERAL Marketing Director at Polaris. “We have received enthusiastic feedback from privateer racers looking to capitalize on their success, and what better way to reward top racers than to offer an industry-leading contingency program.”

So far in the 2018 race season, Polaris has won at the GMZ UTV Winter Nationals Casey Folks Parker 250, the WORCS season opener, and took home a podium sweep at the Can-Am King of the Hammers UTV Race. In desert racing, Polaris won all three UTV classes at the Mint 400 and took the win at the SCORE San Felipe 250.
