Maverick X3 900 HO

Maverick-X3_900HO

A new Maverick X3 900 HO will inhabit the entry-level end of the Maverick family, featuring a 90 horsepower, triple-cylinder, naturally aspirated Rotax engine. This ride is designed for people seeking an entry level into the slick and sporty side-by-side segment. This newest member of the Maverick X3 team offers great off-road capability with a 64-inch stance and 18 inches of front and rear suspension travel.

At $17,999, the Maverick X3 900 HO is a great point-of-entry to the Maverick X3 family as it does a good job of blurring the lines between affordability and performance. A full 90 horsepower is nothing to sneeze at in a side-by-side.

The Maverick X3 900 HO family of rock-ready side-by-side vehicles features excellent ground clearance to accommodate varying conditions. Its high and dominant posture ensures optimal off-road capabilities with no compromise to line-of-sight. The four-link TTX suspension has a trophy truck-inspired trailing arm and three links controlling wheel toe for optimal geometry during extra high wheel travel.

This machine is available in an exclusive Can-Am Red coloration, complete with a black cage and black wheels. Quarter doors  and three-point seat belts keep all hands from being launched into the weeds.

Maverick X3 X mr Turbo & Maverick X3 X mr Turbo R

Can-Am / BRP

Can-Am is also launching its all-new, and very gonzo, Maverick X3 X mr Turbo alongside its brother, the Turbo R. The former measures 64-inches, while the R is stretched to 72-inches.

The amped-up Maverick X3 family juggernauts arrive from the factory with a purpose-built, mud-ready design that will act as a bad influence, encouraging enthusiasts from racers to recreational riders to seek out the nastiest of mud holes and slickest of trails. Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires measuring 27-inches are mounted on 14-inch black aluminum wheels.

The Turbo makes 120 horsepower while the Turbo R is cranked up to 172 horses. Never before has a single consonant made such a difference. Both machines are specially configured for conquering abysmal terrain. The industry-exclusive front differential system with BRP’s Smart-Lok technology is on both the Turbo and Turbo R, supplying them with gobs of traction when the trail turns hostile. The factory-installed snorkeled CVT and engine intakes ensure the party doesn’t stop when tackling wet and muddy conditions.

The Turbo R package is available in a Triple Black and Sunburst Yellow coloration and Sunburst Yellow cage. The non-R Turbo also wears a Triple Black and Sunburst Yellow finish but has a black cage. Both vehicles feature a matching bumper, hood, A-arms, and trailing arms.

The new Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R and Maverick X3 MAX X rs Turbo R, wearing the exclusive Triple Black and Can-Am Red, also include Smart-Lok technology under their aggressive bodywork.

This system features fully locking front diff, designed in tandem with TEAM Industries, a leader in drivetrain technologies. Also helping drivers on the trail are two selectable modes Can-Am calls TRAIL and TRAIL ACTIV, letting riders conquer more terrain than they may normally attempt in a lesser machine. The Smart-Lok system ensures maximum grip and enhanced slow-speed maneuverability especially in challenging terrain.

Both the two-seat Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R and the four-seat Maverick X3 MAX X rs Turbo R vehicles, dressed in Triple Black and Can-Am Red, join the existing 2018 family as separate available packages. These super-sport vehicles crank out a remarkable 172 horsepower, twice the amount this author had available to his left foot in his first car.
