After numerous sets of spy photos, we finally have a set that shows at least one concrete detail underneath all that camouflage hiding the upcoming Jeep Wrangler.

This is the undisguised taillight of the all-new Jeep Wrangler, showing its new styling and the shape of the LEDs that will be the defining characteristic of the new Jeep’s rear end.

Compared to any previous Wrangler, these new lights pack more styling and character, ditching the simplistic look of decades past. An hourglass shape outlines the entire light with three individual LED lights on the inside which stack up vertically when they’re all turned on.

While there is a slight ‘X’ motif in these lights, they are not the full-on ‘X’ design found on the smaller Renegade crossover which many believed would be coming to the JL Wrangler.

These new lights seem indicative of the entire new Wrangler’s design: slight changes that will make it more stylish and give it a modern look. And best of all, all the old-school reasons we love the Wrangler will remain, like the body-on-frame construction, solid axles, great clearance and best-in-class ramp angles.
