A new service has opened in New York City offering everything you need for a camping getaway, including a Jeep Unlimited.
Ashwinn’s Upstate Roaming Company is directed at those city folks who don’t usually venture out into the wilderness and includes everything you might need for a weekend of camping.
Sleeping gear, tents, cooking utensils, cutlery, chairs and more are all pre-packed into the roof-mounted bin on the Wrangler, which is then dropped at your front door. All you have to bring is clothes, booze, food and toiletries, making it easier than ever to get out the city.
Camp sites can be reserved through the service as well, or you can go out and find your own. Booking the Jeep costs $275 a night from Sunday through Thursday, while weekend campers will pay $375 a night.
So while they may not be outfitting you for a serious overlanding trip, anything that gets people out of the city into the wilderness is a good thing in our books.
