– Magellan is excited to announce that it has been named the official navigation partner of Jeep Jamboree USA for the second year in a row. As Jeep Jamboree’s official navigation partner, Magellan will assist in educational seminars and product training events on its off-road navigation device, the TRX7, to over 10,000 attendees.

“Trail safety is important to us, and partnering with Magellan on trail navigation at our events has not only increased driver safety but also enhanced the overall off-road experience for our attendees,” said Jeep Jamboree USA president & CEO, Pearse Umlauf.

Magellan is providing Jeep Jamboree USA staff members with TRX7 navigators for educational seminars, product presentations, and training events at the Welcome & Education Center. Through these seminars, Magellan and Jeep Jamboree staff members encourage safer driving and increase overall event enjoyment for attendees. Jeep Jamboree staff members will also continue to provide device feedback and upload trails to the TRX community database, ensuring the best off-road experience for all attendees and TRX7 users.

For more than sixty years, Jeep Jamboree USA has been organizing off-road adventures for outdoor enthusiasts and their Jeep vehicles. Founded by Off-Road Hall of Famer and Explorers Club member Mark A. Smith, the world’s largest Jeep adventure company typically conducts more than 30 trips throughout the Jeeping season. This family-owned company strives to provide Jeep 4×4 owners with the ultimate off-roading experience.

Magellan is also the official sponsor of Jeep Jamboree USA’s Welcome & Education Center. Present at each of Jeep Jamboree’s events, the Welcome & Education Center consists of a wrapped Ram 3500 and an enclosed trailer.
