Baja-Designs-King-of-the-Motos-1-20-2017
SAN MARCOS, Calif. –
Pioneering off-road lighting manufacturer Baja Designs is the presenting sponsor of the King of the Motos motorcycle race on Feb. 4, during the ULTRA4 Racing King of the Hammers (KOH) week of trials and races at Mead Dry Lake, in Johnson Valley, Calif.

The challenging race is completely GPS-based and features a demanding night-race section for the top riders. In addition to King of the Motos, drivers from Baja Designs’ Team BD, including Tom Wayes, Branden Sims, Mitch Guthrie and previous King of the Hammers winners Bomber Fabrication, will compete in the KOH race on Feb. 11.

“While we’ve been exhibiting at this event for the past six years, we’re proud to step up our involvement as an official sponsor of the 2017 King of the Motos race this year,” said Alan Roach, president, Baja Designs. “Our lights have been at the forefront of the motorcycle community for more than 20 years. It is only fitting for us to sponsor and support a race that features a lineup of incredible riders fighting through the grueling night section.”

Baja Designs will host racers and spectators in a display located on Bestop Boulevard, next to the Bestop fire pit, in the temporary “Hammertown” racing community for the weeklong series of events. Visitors can pick up a copy of the course/spectator map and sign up to enter a raffle for one pair of XL Sport auxiliary lights and one Squadron Sport Universal Motorcycle AC Headlight kit.  There will also be special event pricing on select products and displays of Baja Designs’ latest products, including colored rock lights, dome/rock lights, rear tail lights and the all-new S2 Sport light.
