– The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) hosted its championship round 15 to wrap up the series at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Ariz., this past weekend. Team M/T faced high temperatures and a course change to finish strong with a podium sweep in Pro Buggy.

“It’s been incredible to watch Team M/T face tough competition and challenging track conditions, and consistently come out strong,” said Ken Warner, Vice President of Marketing for Mickey Thompson. “We’re especially proud of the Pro Buggy racers for an outstanding job. We congratulate them and all the Team M/T racers on another great season.”

Point standings were close in the Pro Buggy class, with three Team M/T racers, Garrett George, Darren Hardesty, Jr. and Mike Valentine in range to earn the championship.

After a fierce championship race, Hardesty earned the top spot in the Pro Buggy class by securing a first place finish. George’s fourth place finish earned him enough points to secure second place in the series. Valentine finished strong in third place overall. All race on Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires.
