Jessi-Combs-Lincoln-Electric-SEMA-10-7-2016
Cleveland
– Lincoln Electric will feature two of the biggest names in the automotive aftermarket industry in Booth 24643 at SEMA 2016: Jessi Combs (above) and Chip Foose. Both celebrity designer/builders will sign autographs during the show. SEMA 2016 runs Nov. 1-4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Combs, the face of Lincoln Electric’s women’s welding gear, will appear on Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. She currently co-hosts an award-winning internet series for AutoBlog called The List – 1,001 Car Things to Do Before You Die. Previous efforts include co-hosting positions on Overhaulin’, All Girls Garage and Mythbusters. Combs, a metal fabricator by trade and a race car driver at heart, has podium-finished the Baja 1000 and King of the Hammers multiple times. She also set the women’s land speed record in 2013 (398 miles per hour), giving her the title of “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels.”

Foose, owner and chief designer of Foose Design, will appear in the booth on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. Foose arguably was responsible for the introduction of car customization and hot rodding to a mainstream audience when he was featured in a 2003 documentary, Rides, and launched the highly successful television series Overhaulin’ the following year. He is a four-time recipient of the coveted Ridler Award, one of many honors he has received during his career. This year, Foose will be inducted into the 2016 SEMA Hall of Fame.

The first 50 individuals to purchase either a Chip Foose “Impostor” or Jessi Combs “Jessi the Welder” auto-darkening helmet will receive an exclusive “VIP” pass that will put them in the front of the line to get autographs from their celebrity of choice. This offer is limited to products purchased at the 2016 SEMA show.
