The HMA facility will be the exclusive manufacturer of the second-generation Ridgeline truck, and this is also the location where other light truck products are produced for the brand, such as the Pilot, Odyssey and Acura MDX.

“Today we celebrate the dedication of our Alabama team in bringing a very innovative new pickup truck to market,” said Jeff Tomko, president of HMA. “I congratulate all of our associates for their commitment to our customers as the Ridgeline returns with new features that will deliver even more of what today’s truck customers want and need.”

Honda also recently unveiled the pricing and EPA fuel economy data for the 2017 Ridgeline. Since the Ridgeline is only offered in the same four-door platform, fuel economy numbers are the same for each trim level, with the 2WD model having the highest fuel economy with ratings of 19 mpg city rating, 26 highway and 22 combined. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) model will have a 18 mpg city rating, 25 mpg for the highway, and a rating of 21 mpg combined.
