MESA, ARIZONA:
There are a few Jeep Collections out there, but Omix-ADA’s Jeep Collection is one of the more recognized collections consisting of 31 vehicles spanning the 75 years of Jeep’s history. The exhibit is available for touring in Omix-ADA’s headquarters in Georgia, and they also travel with select models to different shows throughout the year.

This week’s Bower Power Hour Guests are Dave Logan from the Omix-ADA Jeep Collection / Rugged Ridge and Jim Dusky from Progressive International Motorcycle Shows. Then Danny Fraire joins Offroaders Rock to talk about the Laughlin Metro Shop with a Cop Program, and Charlene closes the show with her Bower Media Adventures Arizona Wheeling. Dave gives viewers a brief history of the extensive Omix-ADA Jeep Collection, how it’s maintained, and how it travels around to different shows, then expands on the Rugged Ridge business where they release 20 plus new products a month. Jim takes viewers down the aisles of the enormous shows filled with new technology, demos, and more that stop at 10 locations nationwide. After, Danny talks about how the Location Racing group has fundraised for the Laughlin Metro Shop with a Cop Program for the last 5 years to bring Christmas to underprivileged youth; then Charlene wraps up with her story of settling down in Arizona and her wheeling adventures with the Arizona Undertakers.

“It’s great to be able to bring awareness to an awesome collection of Jeeps that travels, and within the same show talk about the IMS motorcycle shows that also travel and give the industry an opportunity to present their products to the public in a big and fun format,” said Charlene Bower, Host and Executive Producer. “It was great to be able to talk to Danny about the efforts that the Locations Racing group puts in to fundraising for the Laughlin Metro Shop with a Cop Program and the great job they do bringing Christmas to those who may not have gotten one otherwise. I thought I new a lot about the history of Jeeps after getting the privilege of attending the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, but Dave brought a whole new level of knowledge with the Omix-ADA Jeep Collection. It’s amazing that so much history is so well preserved, and all of their vehicles are in running order too! Then Jim brought a new perspective to the motorcycle shows, it’s crazy how diverse the motorcycle and powersport market is. It was fun to share my adventures Arizona Wheeling where we have fun on the weekends.”
