With the race weekend rapidly approaching, 188 race teams have already signed up to take on the final BITD Henderson 250 presented by Supercross.com. Over 200 entries are expected to enter by the time driver’s and rider’s registration ends on Friday at 5:00 p.m. Included in the race field are 19 Trick Trucks, 13 Class 1500 unlimited desert cars, 16 Class 6100 Spec Engine Trick Trucks and 28 UTVs.

Events officially get underway Thursday, December 3rd, at the Time Trials. 32 race teams hit the dirt at this unique qualifying session held for the combined Trick Truck and Class 1500 vehicles as they shoot it out to grab the coveted “Team Ford Pole Award” and $1,000 cash that goes along with it.

Festivities continue on Friday, December 4th, from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM as the streets of downtown Henderson are taken over for contingency and technical inspection. This is a great opportunity for race fans to soak up the spectacle of the parading race vehicles along with their drivers and crews. It’s also an incredible experience for race enthusiasts as they have the chance to check out all of the awesome products and accessories on display as they weave their way down the street lined with block-after-block of race related manufacturers and street vendors. It will be nonstop action all day long and into the evening. Great fun for the entire family!

Then the sounds of engines firing up before sunrise gets Saturday morning started at 5:45 AM as the Motorcycle and Quad classes start staging for the first race of the day. At 6:15 they’ll take off for the first of three laps on a special 45-mile loop. Next up comes the Sportsman, limited class cars and UTVs. At approximately 9:00 AM, these vehicles will head out on a longer 80-mile course and race for two laps.

The third and final race of the day features the faster classes and is highlighted by the Trick Trucks and Class 1500 cars. These racers will take to the desert around 12:40 PM on the 80-mile course for the first of three laps. After the sun finally sets on the finish line, many season ending class championships will have been decided and celebrated. But it won’t be long before racers turn their attention on getting geared up for the highly anticipated 2016 Best In The Desert racing season featuring exciting new races and incredible adventures.

1st Race – 6:15 AM – Motorcycles, Quads
These classes will race around an approximate 45-mile loop three times, for a total of 135 miles, with a gran prix finish.  Course closes at 8:45 am Main Pit, Finish Line cut-off at 9:45 am.

Staging 8:15 AM
2rd Race – 9:00 AM (approx.) – Class 1100, 1700, 1800, 1900/2900, 2000, 2400, 3000, 3700, 6000, 8100  These classes will race around an approximate 80-mile loop two times, total of 160 miles.

Course closes at 12:30 pm at Main Pit, Finish Line cut-off time 3 pm.  (This is not a gran prix finish race for CT, UTV is a GP Finish)

Staging 12 Noon
3rd Race – 12:40 PM (approx.) – Class 1000, 1400, 1500, 6100, 7200, 8000
These classes will race around an approximate 80-mile loop three times, for a total of 240 miles.
Course closes at 7:30 pm at the Main Pit, Finish Line Cut-off time 9 PM.  (This is not a gran prix finish race.)
