Nissan will unveil a few different Cummins-powered Titan XDs later today at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, but there’s also another Titan XD featured at the show that lays claim to being the first-ever modified truck. This prerunner-style Baja truck was built by SEMA members at the SEMA garage after after drawing a record number of attendees for the SEMA “measuring session” for Nissan’s new diesel-powered Titan XD.

This Nissan Titan XD gets additional ground clearance and serious suspension travel thanks to Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5-inch stage 5 suspension system. Toyo Tires aggressive Open County M/Ts aid in providing additional traction, and they are fitted on KMC Wheels XD Series Machete. The front and rear bumpers are designed by Fab Fours, while Westin Thrasher Board running boards are featured on the Titan as well.

A T-Rex Stealth X-Metal grille and fender flares from EGR give the Titan XD a bold, unique look. The Cummins diesel engine gets some additional performance boost thanks to a Banks Ram-Air cold air intake and a Magnaflow Pro Series exhaust. Baja Designs installed its OnX6 20-inch LED light bar and Squadron Pro LED lighting for additional visibility on the trail. Warn fitted the Nissan with its Zeon 8-S recovery winch, and ARB fitted the Titan XD with a 37QT fridge/freezer combo.

“It was an honor to have partnered with SEMA on this project, and we’re very excited how the first-ever industry-modified 2016 Nissan TITAN XD has turned out,” said Pierre Loing, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “The SEMA Show is a great opportunity to really dive deep into everything automotive and meet with the real industry trendsetters.”
