– Greg Adler Motorsports and Team 4 Wheel will be flying into Reno, Nevada on August 22-23 to clash with short course off-road racing’s elite drivers on what has been described as the wildest course on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series circuit. Reno’s Wild West Motorsports Park, with its soaring elevation changes, gravity defying drop-offs and high speed straight-a-ways carved into the Nevada hillside, will provide a stark contrast from the sandy beaches of Baja where the team competed just three weeks ago. And as Adler heads into the self-proclaimed “Biggest Little City in the World” for Rounds 13-14, he sets his sights on finishing the 2015 season with a flourish.

“Wild West Motorsports Park is big, fast, exciting and exemplifies what short course off-road racing is all about,” said Adler. “There are so many changes with the terrain and altitude that when combined with the towering jumps, it’s a fun course to race on.”

This season, with Adler focusing on the marquee Pro4 division, he has established himself as a podium threat among the prolific field and while in Ensenada for Rounds 11-12, he was consistently amidst the top qualifiers. Now, Alder heads to Reno, gambling that he will come away from the weekend with a spot on the podium when the dust has settled.

“We’ve certainly faced our share of challenges,” said Adler. “This is a contact sports and anything can happen out on the track. But we know we’ve been fast all season. Now we have to go out up there and throw down some fast times and consistent laps and put ourselves into the mix.”

Wild West Motorsports Park is located at Exit 23 / Mustang 12005 East I-80 in Sparks, Nevada. The two-day doubleheader kicks off Saturday August 22 with Greg Adler and the Pro4 field taking the green flag at 2 p.m. Gates will open to the public both days at 11 a.m. and the entire pit area will be accessible to spectators throughout the day.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will also visit Las Vegas, Nevada before returning home to Southern California’s Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park as the year concludes with the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup. There’s nothing like live short course off-road racing action, but if you can’t be there to see it in person, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is broadcast throughout the season on CBS, the CBS Sports Network and MAVTV.
