BlueRibbon-Coalition-Logo-9-28-12The Bureau of Land Management White River Field Office will hold a public workshop on May 6, 2015, to discuss the public review period for its 2014 Travel Route Inventory and future travel management efforts.

This meeting is intended to provide the public with an understanding of the multi-year process the BLM is undertaking in order to complete travel management plans for the White River Field Office and to answer questions about these efforts. This is an opportunity for the community to be engaged in this complex planning effort before it begins.

The field office currently has comprehensive travel route data on 650,000 acres of the 1.5 million-acre field office, including more than 1,833 miles of routes, collected in the 2014 Travel Route Inventory. The remainder of the field office will be inventoried this summer. How to review this information and what type of feedback the BLM is seeking will be discussed at this meeting.

The meeting will run from 6 to 7 p.m. on May 6 at the BLM White River Field Office, 220 E. Market St., Meeker, CO 81641.
