What would you do with a TRD Pro on the diverse terrain of Chile? Toyota wants to know.
What would you do with a TRD Pro on the diverse terrain of Chile? Toyota wants to know.

If you had the keys to each one of the TRD Pro Series vehicles and free reign to explore a diverse and beautiful foreign country, what would you do?

That’s exactly what Ryan Millen and Andy Bell are currently being asked by TRD. As members of the team that earned the Tundra TRD Pro’s 2014 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 victory in the ‘Stock Full’ class, these two accomplished off-road racers now face a new challenge:  Navigate a Tundra TRD Pro, 4Runner TRD Pro and Tacoma TRD Pro through some of the toughest terrain in Chile’s Araucania Region. It’s no coincidence these drivers will be tackling terrain in one of the countries that recently hosted the 2015 Dakar Rally, it makes a lot of sense to look for the next great off-road adventure after taming Baja.

What exactly will these off-road pros do on their South American adventure? Blast down sand dunes? Navigate uncharted trails? Ferry their Toyotas across wild rivers on rafts they made from trailside materials? Charge through mud bogs, or tow heavy trail obstacles out of their path? To be honest, they don’t have a specific plan. To a certain extent, Millen and Bell will be winging it on this Chilean off-road adventure, taking the challenges as they come.

That’s where we (and YOU) come in – Millen and Bell want suggestions. What do you think they should try to conquer in Chile? Toyota has confidence that whatever challenges await, the team’s TRD Pro vehicles will get them where they need to go. What they want to hear from Off-Road.com readers is to know what we want to see.  So put yourself in their shoes – what would you want to do most with a TRD Pro if Toyota was picking-up the tab down in Chile?

Feel free to share you ideas and suggestions for Bell and Millen’s adventure in the comment section of this story or on one of our forums. Make sure to check back with Off-Road.com as well, because Toyota will be sharing photos and videos of the team’s adventure in South America. Stay tuned!
