LAS VEGAS, Nev.
– With four races to go in the 2014 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORS), Patrick Clark is ready to move forward; that’s why he’s moving back to the truck that helped him score better results last season.

“We made some moves in the off-season, following the end of the 2013 series,” said Patrick Clark, driver of the #25 Pro 2 Class truck sponsored by LoanMart, “that we thought would push us ahead. And being successful requires knowing when to make adjustments. I’m excited to get back to the truck I know, the one that knows me. I call her old Betsy.”

This truck helped Clark score fifth place overall in the championship points battle last year, including a podium finish for rounds 3/4. Clark and his team are eager to get old Betsy out on the track for rounds 9/10 of the LOORRS series, to be held at Glen Helen Raceway in Devore, Calif., August 1 &2.

Built by Billy and Robbie Goerke of Collins Motorsports, who have 25 years of experience in off-road racing, Clark’s “old” new Pro 2 race truck is a half-cab body style with small differences in geometry and set up.

“We’ve had good results at Glen Helen. I like the track, and consider it like a second home,” said the Las Vegas-based racer. “We are even more focused on being a racing threat in this competitive Pro 2 class; we’re still focused on scoring podium finishes in 2014. There is great racing yet this season, and we are ready to deliver strong results in the remaining races.”
