Husqvarna-IDSE-Support-5-9-14
Husqvarna Motorcycles has announced a comprehensive support program for the International Six Days Enduro, which is scheduled to take place in San Juan, Argentina, November 3-8, 2014.

Husqvarna will be offering a Husqvarna Service Package for riders and teams in the classic annual event, which is the oldest off-road competition on the official FIM motorsports calendar. The Husqvarna Service Package is designed to support riders with Husqvarna rental bikes, race service, spare parts and expert advice. The Service Package is a strong alternative as it may alleviate some of the organizational stresses faced by riders not supported by factory teams or huge sponsors, allowing the riders to focus on their racing.

Only a limited number of Husqvarna Service Packages are available though, and interested are encouraged to contact Husqvarna Motorcycles official dealers and apply as soon as possible using the application forms attached to this document.

Rental bikes from the model year 2015 are available in the following classes and prices:

2-stroke: E1 (TE 125), E2 (TE 250), E3 (TE 300)–-Rental cost of 2-strokes €3040 (~$4230), excluding VAT

4-stroke: E1 (FE 250), E2 (FE 350, FE 450), E3 (FE 501)-–Rental cost of 4-strokes €3340 (~$4650), excluding VAT.

The rental costs include bike rental for the entire Six Days event, transportation to San Juan, Argentina, registration and insurance for the motorcycle at the event. Detailed information concerning bike rental, race service and spare parts are included in the application forms available at this link or at official Husqvarna dealers. Please note: A dealer/importer guarantee is required for the rental bike order! Please contact your Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer/importer. Order deadline for the bike rental is July 18, 2014.

About the ISDE
Often reffered to as the “Olympics of motorcycle racing,” the ISDE was first held in Carlisle, England in 1913, just 10 years after Husqvarna produced its very first “motorized bicycle,” and the event celebrated its centenary edition in Sardinia, Italy, last year. The ISDE pits riders and national teams against each other for six days of brutal off-road competition. National teams compete for the coveted World- and Junior Trophies and hobby racers have the unique opportunity to ride in the same conditions and on the same track as the sport’s elite.

Team France were the champions of the 2013 ISDE, with Team USA second and Team Italy third. Some 500 riders from 40 countries have already registered for the 2014 event.
