Radar-Tires-Logo-4-3-14Traverse City, Mich. – Apr. 24, 2014 – After a breakout 2013 rookie season of off-road racing, Radar Tires, the flagship brand of Singapore-headquartered Omni United, comes into their second season with TORC: The Off-Road Championship Presented by AMSOIL, primed with an announcement of official series partnership and three drivers in the PRO Light class. TORC is the nation’s premiere short-course, off-road racing series. Radar Tires will be an Official Series Partner for the entire 2014 TORC season.

Coming in as a new partner, the company already has a good, securing a trio of talented racers to represent Radar in the PRO Light class. Project648 Motorsports’ driver Luke Johnson and Cam Reimers Motorsports co-drivers Cam Reimers and Ian Harris will all campaign a full TORC season on Renegade R5 Radar Tires.

Radar Tires offers a complete range of passenger car, SUV, trailer, winter and commercial tires, and is one of the fastest growing global tire brands, with representation in over 80 countries.

As an Official Series Partner, Radar Tires will have significant brand visibility through media exposure including television, print, digital and social media as well as display space and track signage at TORC events. The company says that this year’s initiatives include increasing activation and awareness for the brand, and continuing to build loyalty and a fan base in the off-road community.

TORC: The Off-Road Championship is holding seven events across the United States this year, with NBC Sports providing television coverage and a behind-the-scenes docu-reality series. The 2014 event schedule features races at the following venues:

– April 5-6: Primm, NV (Primm Off-Road Raceway)
– April 25-26: Charlotte, NC (Charlotte Motor Speedway)
– May 17-18: St. Louis, MO (Gateway Motorsports Park)
– June 28-29: Crandon, WI (Crandon International Off-Road Raceway)
– July 19-20: Bark River, MI (Bark River International Raceway)
– Aug 5-6: Sturgis, SD (Buffalo Chip Powersports Complex)
– Aug 30-31: Crandon, WI (Crandon International Off-Road Raceway)
