Josh-THUMB-Frederick-Poster-4-2-13Cedar City, Utah – The excitement is about to explode in Cedar City, Utah as Iron Mine Race Park and Epic Moto have teamed up to create a one-of-a-kind racing event – ENDURO BLAST! Set amidst the open range with Cedar Breaks National Monument as a backdrop, this southern Utah community will open its arms to racers and fans alike on October 18 & 19, 2013 – all to benefit the Josh Frederick Foundation.

Kicking off of ENDURO BLAST, 2x AMA National Champion, Joe Byrd, brings his ATV Riding School to Iron Mine on Thursday and Friday, October 17 & 18. Without a doubt Byrd’s ATV school is one of the best in the country, targeting all level of riders. The two day school will offer top-notch training with skills benefiting both mx and off-road riders.

In addition, 2012 AMA National Hare & Hound 250 Champion, Skylar Howes, will also join Iron Mine presenting a three hour riding session on Friday afternoon for the motorcycles.

Friday night is the official launch of ENDURO BLAST with an ATV/UTV Rodeo!

Be prepared for the engines to ignite early Saturday morning as ENDURO BLAST offers a full day of racing at Iron Mine. Spectators will be smack in the middle of the action as Iron Mine’s race tracks surround the viewing area, providing the best visibility for the enthusiast!

For the ATVs:
ENDURO BLAST brings together ATV racers of all styles, but allows them to choose their style of racing – either mx, grand prix, or both. The competition will heat up as the ATV Pro/Pro Am riders will battle it out in one class for the points. Pro/Pro Am’s who want to compete for the Pro Purse will race both MX and Grand Prix with the best combined scores will pay out the Top 5!

For the Bikes:
Epic Moto presents Round 6 of their 2013 Grand Prix Series. All bikes will compete in grand prix style racing during the intense one hour long battle of  the bikes!

For the UTVs:
When the sun begins to fade the engines will roar as the UTVs will blast into the sunset during this hour long off-road race that goes from “Dust to Dusk!”

Along with non-stop excitement there will be raffle items, music, food, and an outdoor big screen Saturday night. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see some of the regions finest racers throw down all to benefit the Josh Frederick Foundation for the Disabled! (Entry fees are tax deductible).

The Josh Frederick Foundation for the Disabled is committed to maintaining and improving the quality of life by providing financial assistance to individuals with spinal cord injuries. The Foundation helps those with spinal cord injuries cover non-reimbursable medical and out of pocket expenses. Those living with spinal cord injuries reach a point where insurance is exhausted and/or funds are no longer available.  The mission of this foundation is to assist individuals in returning to an active lifestyle and regaining their independence by allowing them to focus on recovery without financial burden.
