loanmart-racing-lucas-oil-8-23-13Reno, NV – LoanMart Racing is ready to fire away at Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno, Nevada for rounds 11 and 12 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The Wild West track is cut into a hillside which provides a unique view for the fans and hair raising elevation changes for the racers.

New for this race is the addition of Pro Buggy racer Dave Mason to the LoanMart Racing roster.

Now sporting a new paint scheme the young Mason began the season with 8 straight podium finishes. His consistency has put him in the championship points lead in the Pro Buggy class. “I am very excited to have LoanMart’s support for the rest of the season,” says Dave, “I will be looking to bring them success in Reno. The competition is tough in the Pro Buggy class but I’ll be on my game.

Someone who is always on his game is defending Prolite Champion RJ Anderson. “Reno is the most unique track on the circuit,” says RJ Anderson, “We were on the podium both rounds there last year so we are anxious to return.” RJ and his crew chief Nick have been working with Kevin Kroyer on some tweaks to give RJ even more power.

Prolite racer Oscar Rodriguez will have Andrew Caddell filling in for him again as important duties have called him away.

Teammate Ryan Beat will also be on the track battling his way to the front in the ultra-competitive Prolite class.

In Pro-2, Austin Kimbrell will be learning the right set-up for Reno; this will be his first time here racing in the Pro-2 class. The track is not about technique as much as it is about speed. It’s wide and fast inviting drivers to put it on the rev limiter. Austin might be learning the ins and outs of the Pro-2 class but when it comes to going full bore, he has that covered.

Corry Weller is looking for some solid results. She has been developing some new suspension set-ups for her Pro-4 truck but will not be using them this weekend. At least, that’s what she says…

The Reno race never disappoints the fans when it comes to action. There will be plenty of passing as the corners are super wide. With gravity carrying them as fast as they can go, the drivers plunge from the top of the ridges all the way down to the valley floor. With the entire field fighting for every point possible in the championship points race it’s guaranteed to be action packed with intense wide-open racing in every class.
