PLACERVILLE, CA: Rock-N-Roll 4×4 Cantina for the Con BBQ Raffle Ticket Presale at Extreme Gear Off-Road in Rancho Cordova on August 20th has become more than a drop-by event, it has become an event that 4×4 enthusiasts plan on attending and make a full Tuesday evening of hanging out with friends and exchanging trail stories.  The exceptional food provided by Sierra Smokehouse BBQ is the center of attention, but the Raffle Ticket sales for the Labor Day Cantina for the Con event is the main focus.  Thousands of dollars in products get raffled on Sunday September 1st at the Cantina for the Con event, you do not need to be present to win, and can even purchase tickets over the phone from anywhere in the country at 888-6-RUBICON.

Tuesday August 20th is an open house style event with scrumptious BBQ available from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Extreme Gear Off-Road.  96.9 the Eagle, Sacramento’s Classic Rock station and 98 Rock, California’s Rock Station will be in attendance and hosting giveaways throughout the night.  Along with checking out Extreme Gear Off-Road, there will be an assortment of vendors that will be featuring their products. The BBQ Pork is amazing and makes a great end to your workday.

The Raffle Ticket stubs go into the huge raffle at the 9th Annual Cantina for the Con Labor Day Weekend, Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st at the Loon Lake Spillway. Historically the raffle has had over $15,000 in prizes to give away to raffle ticket holders, and this year it looks to be even bigger!  Participate in this event by donating raffle prizes or purchasing raffle tickets to win, or both.  Tickets are $1 for 1; $10 for 15; $20 for 32; $60 for 100 or $100 for 200.  You do not have to be present to win, but will be responsible for shipping.  There is also the opportunity to purchase $10 tickets to win a Toyota Truck donated by Dave’z and Trail-Gear. Any and all support helps immensely.

On Labor Day Weekend, enjoy the most talked about Tacos on the Rubicon Trail and the Manufacturers Midway where companies come from all over to enjoy a weekend in the mountains.  Get a Cantina Coupon Book worth Thousands of dollars in savings. The 501(c)3 Donation helps the Rubicon Trail Foundation meet it’s goals.  The mission: “To enhance the future health and use of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible motorized year-round trail access.  We advocate for your continued motorized access to the trail and surrounding public lands.”  The monetary support goes towards continued monitoring of important legal issues and political involvement at the Local and Federal level.  On trail, the money is used to educate trail users via mid-trail staff, supporting organized work parties and accessing private property for public enjoyment.
