SCORE-Logo-12-20-11RENO, Nev.—On the short list of everyone’s all-time best desert racers would certainly be the venerable Rod Hall and the legendary racer from Reno will be the featured guest during this week’s airing of Roger Norman’s Dirt LiveHD weekly Internet broadcast Tuesday at 7 p.m. Pacific Time Airing in High Definition on www.score-international.com, the show has moved to Reno, Nev., to air its next three shows before returning to its broadcast home at the SCORE International tech shop in San Diego starting Tuesday, July 16.

The sports all-time ambassador of goodwill, the legendary Hall, 73, is the only driver who has raced in all 45 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert races where he holds the all-time race record with 22 class wins, including last year’s Mexican peninsula run from Ensenada, Baja California to La Paz, Baja California Sur.

Hall, who has been the lead driver for factory desert racing teams from Dodge and Hummer in his career, he has also been a special instructor for BFGoodrich Tires, and is currently also the chairman of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame that is located in the famed Harrah’s National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno.

Roger Norman’s Dirt Live one-hour show is broadcast live weekly and the show is anchored around Norman’s two desert racing series, the SCORE Desert Series and the High Desert Racing Association as well as the new bonus points championship purse program he has developed called the World Championship of Desert Racing. All live events, this will be the 22nd weekly Dirt LiveHD episode to air.

Dirt Live also goes on-site live with expanded event coverage during SCORE and HDRA race weekends and will next be covering the Dirt Live Off-Road Expo in downtown Reno, Nev. (July 10-12) and the Eldorado HDRA Reno 500 desert race just outside of Reno on July 12-14.

Joining Hall as a special guest on this week’s Dirt LiveHD will be Christopher Baum, the CEO and President of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority. The RSCVA is a major supporter of the upcoming Dirt Live Off-Road Expo and the Eldorado HDRA Reno 500, round three of the four-race 2013 HDRA Series.

A special tech tips segment on this week’s show from Reno will feature Las Vegas Trophy Truck racer and noted mechanic T.J. Flores who will be getting technical about CV joints, a valuable part in many desert racing vehicles.

Another feature on the weekly Dirt LiveHD shows is the video of the week which for this week is expected to be a highlight video of Tim Weigand and his JCR Honda teammates Colton Udall and David Kamo winning the 45th Tecate SCORE Baja 500 a few weeks ago.
