Corona, CA – Off-Road Racing goes “Primetime” August 4th and 5th, for Rounds 9 & 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, under the lights at the 4 Wheel Parts Off Road Nationals presented by Canidae All Natural Pet Foods at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.
Bring the whole family out to enjoy the challenging and fan-friendly Glen Helen track and experience all of the high-flying, 850+ horsepower, full-contact competition in the first nighttime race of the season. Series superstars: Brian Deegan, Carl Renezeder, Rob MacCachren, Jeremy McGrath, Kyle LeDuc, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Rodrigo Ampudia and Carey Hart are among the top drivers that will be going all-out in their quest for victory.
Known for its intimidating natural terrain, the illuminated Glen Helen Raceway is tight and fast, requiring the drivers to be aggressive yet precise. Huge jumps and highly technical obstacles will not be the only tests they will face. Adding to the pressure is the extremely tight points battle raging between the competitors in all classes. Each driver is gunning for critical championship points every time the green flag drops, intensifying the door-to-door battles on the short course track.
Kids 5 and under are free with a paid adult general admission ticket. The venue also features an exciting Midway Area, where fans can meet their favorite drivers and check out the fun-filled vendor’s displays.
The entire season of the Pro Lite and Pro 2 classes of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will also be broadcast every Sunday in 2012 on the CBS Sports Network at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT.
