As a little kick-off to the start of the short-course off-road racing season beginning this weekend in Arizona for the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, check out this pairing of All Star pitcher Tim Lincecum as he gets behind the wheel of Bryce Menzies’ trophy truck.

While in Phoenix for spring training, baseball world champion and All Star pitcher Tim Lincecum took the opportunity to meet up with 2011 TORC Series PRO 2 class champion, SCORE Trophy Truck champion and Dirt Sports Driver of the Year, Bryce Menzies, at Firebird Raceway.

While out practicing for the upcoming short-course off-road season, Menzies and Lincecum were able to meet up just prior to the start of the short-course season and baseball season. After suiting up, Lincecum went for a wild ride in Menzies’ 800-horsepower #1 Menzies/Red Bull Trophy Truck. After the tutorial with Menzies, Lincecum climbed into the driver’s seat, where he proved that throwing a baseball isn’t his only talent.
