At the end of another year of racing, Rob MacCachren has racked up five wins in fourteen rounds of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS).  Perhaps even more impressive is that LOORRS is only one of three series that MacCachren competes in.  He was also victorious at three TRAXXAS The Off Road Championship (TORC) races and had two wins (in only five races) in SCORE desert racing.  Still, perhaps the most important race of the year is yet to come.  “This is the biggest pay day in short course,” MacCachren noted of the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, “and I want my piece of it.”  $30,000 is on the line as Rob pits the No. 1 ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / BFGoodrich Tires / MasterCraft Safety truck not only against his normal Pro2 Unlimited competition, but the Pro4 Unlimited 4WD trucks are on the same course as well.  MacCachren is no stranger to cup ra ces, having won three Borg Warner Cups during his prestigious short course career.

If you are in Phoenix this weekend Firebird International Raceway is the place to be for the most exciting racing on the planet.  Warm temperatures and clear skies are expected for the final round of LOORRS short course racing on Saturday, December 10th.  Rob Mac is currently second in points in the LOORRS marquee Pro2 Unlimited class and can mathematically still take the title from fellow ROCKSTAR Energy Drink athlete Brian Deegan at the final race of the season.  Stop by MacCachren’s pits for autographs and photos and free samples of ROCKSTAR Energy Drink from the beautiful ROCKSTAR girls.  If you are stuck braving winter instead of enjoying door banging action in Phoenix, watch for updates on MacCachren’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/21RobMac.
