PASO ROBLES, CA – Beta factory rider Cody Webb ended his 2011 AMA Mototrial season with a dominating win over rival Pat Smage besting the new champion by 23 points. The win brought a positive end to an exciting season.

The final three rounds were held at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennesse this past weekend. The event proved to be tough as the weather became an issue on the first two days with thunderstorms passing through each afternoon. This made the huge rock outcroppings slippery having the two top riders searching for traction. Webb finished the final round on top of the podium for the day and in second position for the season.

“My weekend was not as perfect as I would have liked however it was a good learning experience. I had to battle back from terrible first loops Saturday and Sunday. Monday I finally put it all together and rode like I was supposed to all year. I was super impressed with the performance of my Beta all weekend and I can’t wait for next year to battle back for another championship. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the help and support. I also want to thank my sponsors American Beta, RL Racing, Dunlop, Gaerne, Kal Gard, S3, Nau, and Country Home Inspection to help make this year a great one”.  Webb explains.

Next stop for Cody is the National EnduroX series which begins on July 31st at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This round will be a part of the ESPN X-Games. Look for Webb on his factory-prepared Beta 350 RR.
