Crandon, WI (May 23, 2011) – After mother nature cancelled the MORR Test Day at Crandon the previous two Saturdays, the weather cooperated as twenty seven Sportsman off-road racers were able to put in some much needed pre-season test laps. The day started sunny with above normal temperatures. There was a threat of rain for later in the day, so Crandon track official Fay Statzney, had the first group of racers off line at 9:30 a.m.

The twenty seven racers were split into three groups, and each group had three opportunities to practice on the track. The competitors represented seven of the eight TORC Sportsman classes.

The day went smoothly with only three trucks needing assistance to get back to the pit area. Just as the final group finished their third track session, the rain came ending a perfect day of testing.
Now with only a few days before the TORC season opener at Red Bud MX, the teams are making their final preparations for another great season of short-course racing in the Midwest.
