RENO, NV: Miller Lite presents the Reno Off-Road Motorsports Expo at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, Friday through Sunday, March 25-27, 2011. The Reno Off-Road Motorsports Expo is one of four big shows that also includes the Reno Outdoor Sports & Recreation Expo, the Spring Home & Garden Show and the Reno Pet Show.  $10 gets you in the door for all four shows.

Tommi Ahval, a 2-time World Trials Motorcycle Champion, will perform multiple times each day during the show. Trails Motorcycle Riding requires balance and precision at jumping onto and off of obstacles while never allowing their feet to touch the ground.  This unbelievable skill combined with a playful interactive show makes it entertaining and exciting for the whole family.

On the Tuesday before the show, March 22, participants can 4wheel with the vendors on a “Mild to Wild” Fundraiser Trail Ride to help support the Blue Ribbon Coalition and their dedication to keeping our land open for use and protecting responsible recreational access.  Registration is $35 per vehicle, which also includes two event tickets to the Reno Off-Road Motorsports Expo, payable by check or cash at the Convention Center meeting place prior to leaving. Everyone will start on the same trail and then separate where “Mild meets Wild”.  Following the finish of the trail ride, participants will meet in Virginia City for a social gathering.

Reno has been a hidden mecca of Off-Road enthusiasts for years.  Additional features to the Reno Off-Road Expo include hometown legend Rod Hall’s #61 Chevy Silverado Rally Truck that has recently competed in the Baja1000, and be sure to bring your RC Rock Crawling car to test on multiple obstacle courses.  Local Off-Road clubs will share their incredible Nevada back-country adventures, trails, ghost towns, and their favorite fishing and hunting spots and over in the Outdoor Expo the Nevada State Parks will be presenting seminars on GPS, reading maps and compasses.

“The Reno Off-Road Expo has everything you’ll need for your next off-road adventure,” said show producer Al Lockett, “plus, combining all four shows into one weekend gives show attendees more bang for their buck with the low price of only $10 per person”.

The four show event will also feature Ph.D. Antiques Appraiser and part comedian, Dr. Lori, who will give FREE appraisals at the Spring Home & Garden Show; attendees are invited to be a part of the show and bring their antique to Dr. Lori. Splash Dog teams make waves with the fine art of dock jumping and dock diving, and you can even bring your dog to give it a try.  Bass Tubs of Oklahoma will have their 40 foot mobile aquarium to give fishing demonstrations on bass fishing techniques and the Reno Pet Show brings the Pug Parade on Sunday, March 27th at 2 p.m.; pug owners are encouraged to register early and enter their best friend online at www.Lockettshows.com.
