Just in time for
publication we were able to get a new 2003 Polaris Predator test
unit put on the dyno at Dynojet's Research and Development facility
in Las Vegas, NV. The 500cc motor in the new Predator has already
proven to be very strong in our intial testing. Michael Cory helped
us to find out just what the Dyno says:
So just what
did it say? The Predator cranked out an easy 42HP. Very impressive
for a stock 500cc ATV. This is 6 HP more than the 660ccYamaha
Raptor in stock form.
We will be doing more
in-depth testing of the Predator and bring you an in depth report
next month! (I know, tough job....)
